According to Alvin Nash, the housing director in Dubuque, the answer is yes. Just a month after they received a terrible review from their recent HUD Audit, Mr. Nash said he is committed to “starting from scratch” and making his section 8 program the best in the nation.
It should be noted that Mr. Nash was hired AFTER the scathing review, and he was hired to overhaul the program.
So Iowans, what do you think? Do you believe that Dubuque will become the gold standard in Section 8 housing administration?
