Housing Authority of Brevard County accepting Applications for Public Housing
It’s very important that each adult member of the household applying completes an application and mail or take it to their office at 584 Player Lane, Merritt Island, FL 32953 (321) 775-1577 or 4000 Riverside Drive, Unit #100, Satellite Beach, FL 32937 (321) 775-1583 Monday thru Thursday between 9 am and 5:30 pm along with picture ID, Social Security Card and Proof of Income. Incomplete Forms will be rejected.
If you are approved, you will be called for an interview. So make sure you provide them with trustworthy contact information.
The HABC will place applicants in their waiting list first according to their set preference system:
Working families
People 62 or older
People with disabilities
And then by date and time of application.
You need to inform your case worker if there’s any change in your household.
All applicants age 18 years and older will be subject to criminal record, registered sex offender check, landlord reference check, and credit check.
