If im currently on section 8 and i have to transfer because the landlord refuse to fix health hazard issues. Can i port to a different jurisdiction if suitable housing cant be found in the county im in.

Yes, if your landlord refuses to fix the health hazard issues and you have exhausted all avenues of trying to get the problem resolved, then you could, and SHOULD, exercise your rights as a tenant to transfer to a safe environment. If I were in your situation, then I would first reach out to your local Housing and Credit Counselor advocates. They would be able to point you in the right direction as far as dealing with your landlord goes. Good luck!
